Welcome to the New Old Men Online Portal and Forum. 

Its been a long time coming but its finally here!  There are a lot of functions and capabilities to explore.  Want to do your own blog?  Maybe you want to write an article and have it posted on the front page.  Lots of options.

OMOChat

There is a chat function enabled that allows you to do both normal text chat as well as video chat.  If you have a webcam and you want to video chat with another member you see on the page well the OMOChat is the place to do it.  The image to the left shows the chat feature enabled.  This is the default 'module' location on the right hand side.

The ChatCenter allows you to see at a glance who's online and any messages you may have.  In addition you can use the ChatCenter to completely disable chat by clicking on the "Off" text to the right of Full Page Chat

S5 Media Player

The S5 Media Player module is demo'd above this text. It is 100% flash based and does require flash to be installed for it to work. The module allows you to add up to 30 video clips/movies. It accepts FLV files and the popular MP4 file types. The module also has the following features:

Features:

* Height and width can be set
* Choose either dark or light theme
* (NEW on 6/7/09) Choose a preview image to show before video is playing or when it's stopped
* Set background color
* Add up to 30 videos/media clips
* Button Features: fullscreen, volume control, hide playlist
* Playlist scrollbar will auto hide when videos don't exceed module height
* Each video has the following options:
o Set video size ratio, 4:3, 16:9, etc
o Set video title
o Set description
o Enter video URL
o Enter thumbnail URL for video

The S5 Image and Content Fader is demo'd at the top of this page. It allows you publish your own content into each slide transition. The S5 Image and Content Fader is powered by S5 Effects. This means you will not receive any conflicts with other javascript libraries your template, modules or components might be using.

This module includes the following features which you can see below in the module admin screenshot:

1. Specify height and width of images
2. Up to 10 images able to rotate at one time
3. Set background color
4. Set how fast the image fades (tween time)
5. Set how long the image displays before fading
6. Each image slide can have its own hyperlink
7. Publish your own content to each picture slide
8. Choose font and background colors
9. Choose opacity of background color
10. Set font size and paddings
11. All settings are independent for each slide
12. Not all slides require text
